High social impact products
We already generate a high social impact with our daily activity (mortgages, business loans, and so on). BBVA designs products and services with a higher social impact keeping in mind the needs of customers and their context.
Access to financial services is one of the most important factors contributing to people having a better future, for themselves and their families.
One of the priorities of the Responsible Business Plan is inclusive growth, with three social objectives:
- We promote access to finance, banca para todos (banking for all), through the Microfinance Foundation and introducing channels and low-cost products for people on a low income without access to financial services.
- We sell products and solutions for SMEs with a high growth potential as a means to promote growth and jobs in the regions in which we operate.
- We seek specific solutions for segments of the population with special needs.
